  • One-year Compulsory Rotatory Residential Medical training of Internship at Pramukhswami Medical College in Karamsad in 2012-2013.
  • Three-year junior residency program in DNB in General Medicine at Deen Dayal Upadhyay Hospital in New Delhi and pursued a three-year senior residency Program in DM in cardiology at BJ medical college, which is affiliated with U N MEHTA institute of cardiology in Ahmedabad. This institute is NABH accredited and considered the apex center for Cardiology and Cardiovascular and Thoracic Surgery in India, with a dedicated 1150 bedded cardiac hospital. The hospital sees an average daily OPD of over 500 patients and performs 3000+ diagnostic CATH procedures and 400+ therapeutic CATH procedures per month, making it the largest cardiac specialty hospital in Asia.

During my career as an invasive cardiologist, I have performed the following procedures:

  • Transthoracic ECHO, DSE, strain imaging, 3D echocardiography, and other related procedures
  • Endotracheal intubation, HFO ventilation, and heart failure therapy to support patients with respiratory or heart-related issues
  • IABP (intra-aortic balloon pump) insertion for patients with severe heart failure, Transesophageal ECHO, and right heart catheterization to diagnose and manage various cardiac conditions
  • Coronary Angiography (both radial and femoral approaches) to assess the blood flow and identify blockages in coronary arteries, with over 1000 procedures performed to date
  • Peripheral Angiography, which involves using contrast dye and X-rays to examine the blood vessels outside of the heart, with over 200 procedures performed
  • Cath Oximetry, a diagnostic procedure that involves measuring oxygen levels in the blood through a catheter, with over 15 procedures performed
  • Coronary Angioplasty, a minimally invasive procedure used to widen narrowed or blocked coronary arteries, with over 200 procedures performed
  • Permanent pacemaker implantation and AICD (automatic implantable cardioverter-defibrillator) placement to regulate the heart's rhythm Device closure and structural interventions, including procedures such as PDA (patent ductus arteriosus) closure, ASD (atrial septal defect) closure, and BMV (balloon mitral valvotomy), to correct structural defects in the heart.
